The rivalry continues!

Shenendehowa invaded Saratoga Springs High School on Friday night in a classic match up of two Section II powerhouses for a boys basketball contest that decides who sits atop the Suburban Council North.

FINAL
Shen holds off Saratoga in a wild one, 79-64, to remain unbeaten and in first place of the Suburban Council North.

Fouth quarter
Saratoga coach Mitch Snyder gets a technical foul with 6:22 remaining in the game.
A few minutes later, Saratoga's Tony DeLoatch is given a technical for an elbow.

End of the third quarter
Shen continues to hold strong as the enviornment at the Saratoga Springs High School gymnasium gets hostile. A spectator was ejected, coaches had words at the scorers' table and the Plainsmen remain in front, 52-39.

Halftime
Shen turned up the intensity in the second quarter, coming up with 12 points off seven steals. Saratoga has 11 turnovers, too. The Plainsmen headed into intermission up, 36-22, and Shen's Matt Miner has 15.

End of first quarter
After the first quarter, Shen is up, 22-14. Plainsmen standout Matt Miner leads all scorers with 10 points.
