Saratoga Catholic No. 2, Saratoga Springs No. 15 in latest state rankings
Undefeated Saratoga Catholic rose to the No. 2 spot in the latest Class B state baseball rankings released by the NYSSWA Thursday. The Saints are just one of many local teams to make the rankings, however. Schuylerville is currently No. 13 in Class B while Schalmont is No. 17 and Albany Academy No. 19.
In large schools, No. 6 ranked Shenendehowa is one of two Section II teams ranked along with rival Saratoga Springs at No. 15. The two will play for the second time this spring next Monday.
Burt Hills-Ballston Lake, holding its own with a .500 Suburban Council record, is ranked for the first time this spring at the No. 17 spot in Class A.
