Soccer Hall of Fame closing...for now

The biggest soccer ball in the world that resides down I-88 in Oneonta may have just been given the proverbial boot.

In a press conference earlier this week, President and CEO Jonathan Ulman said that the location will be closed to the public after Labor Day except for dates where matches are scheduled on the fields adjacent to the facility.

The facility is schedule to be open and honor its commitments to the High School Hall of Fame Cup scheduled for later this month and the New York State Public High School Athletic Association boys soccer championships Nov. 21 and 22.

Check out the story from the Hall of Fame's hometown newspaper, the Oneonta Star here.
